Xavier de Pauw has joined the Advisory Board of Blanco on\u00a01<\/span>\u00a0February. As an alumnus of Merrill Lynch and co-founder and CEO of a\u00a0digital bank, De Pauw is no stranger to the fintech domain. He will actively advise Blanco on developments in the financial and fintech\u00a0sector.<\/p><\/div>

De Pauw worked at Merrill Lynch for ten years, including as Director of Fixed Income Structured Finance\u00a0&<\/span>\u00a0Investments. After that, De Pauw was co-founder and CEO of online bank MeDirect, co-authored a\u00a0book on WealthTech, was founder and chairman of Fintech Belgium, and held the position of Group Head of Strategic Innovation\u00a0&<\/span>\u00a0Marketing at Degroof\u00a0Petercam.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201c<\/span>Blanco has the ambition and potential to become a\u00a0pan-European player in a\u00a0market that is crying out for innovation. Many private banks and wealth managers are seeing their costs soar due to new regulations and at the same time their profits are under pressure. These sectors need to innovate and Blanco makes this manageable and affordable for them by automating the entire wealth management chain in an efficient and user-friendly manner.
